Travel Europe- James Bond

Traveling throughout Europe, especially throughout southern europe give me always the James Bond feeling. For example Greece: Living in asia with the regards to the rich ancient history but combined with a often new experimental lifestyle makes me feel strange arriving in athens- also a rich history but the people and their lifestyle seems to me taking a plane like a time machine which drops me after just ten hours in the 80s- amazing. I always thought Costa Cordalis in a czech mechanic who became famous in germany, but i was wrong. People in greece seem to eat always heavy meat influenced dishes served with tons of onions and garlic, look like Costa Cordalis and listen to Euro Dance Music. As I am a urban guy i do love cities and could easily stay in most places pretty long- so i thought ten days is not to much to spend in athens, but i was wrong again. The only thing which keeps me busy was a delicious lemon roast and the all time favorite greek salad- yummy, but after three u need a break. So i decided to leave for very famous rome. The deal was to drink as many espressos as possible per day- nothing more. Compared to greece guys italians are real fashionistas and sometimes fascist.
But nevertheless i never got any tasty italian food while staying in rome- its simply not worth the euros spend- stay with the espresso and you will be fine.

Brazil

In a few weeks i will fly into Sao Paulo as well as Rio de Janeiro for a couple of days- just a short trip. If anybody is around there it would be nice if we could meet or if u have any ideas what to do over there, please drop me a line.

Travel Europe

I got an invitation to a joint trip to europe. Right after a short stop in berlin i flow out of famous tempelhof airport- for sure a must for a world traveller.











Brussels is the capital of Belgium which is famous for flavored beer, delicious chocolate as well as child sex.
The main institutions of EU are situated within the city borders- so it seems it is a boring place. So what- its not the place to be in europe, but indeed the "lovely" french lifestyle is always worth the short hop.


French guys look often like loving little guys- but i did not see anything illegal, but got the chance to try the famous influenced french cuisine- french fries with homemade sauce, cherry beer and pralines which are the most delicious once your will get around the globe. I started the day with white wine followed by beer by the park, pralines, belgium waffles, french fries with boiled meet chunks in sauce, french fries again served with beer, spanish cold cuts and more beer. This was one of the most unhealthy days since a long time.

Sunglasses at night

From dusk till dawn- Jakarta is my well-loved place for nighttime entertainment. To be honest this is the most amazing place in the world at night! While my last weekend I booked in my favourite hotel with a friend of mine- real porn!
Paris is out- if you are really seeking for hedonist lifestyle u has to join the crowd in Jakarta.
Start with a sun downer drink in the hotel club lounge, have dinner in one of the many night Warungs in Jl. Pencanogan or just simply choose your favourite cuisine in one of the thousands restaurants. At nighttime driving around Jakarta is really relaxed as there is more or less no traffic jam- you just have to handle all the stupid taxis drivers. There are so many places in Jakarta to go, but I just wanna spent the time until the most hedonist place is ready for the crowd. Besides places like Blowfish, Embassy, X2, and Oishisha the best place to hang around before heading to Stadium is Red square. This is a small Russian vodka bar with a nice mix of expats, prostitutes and locals- after a few vodka shots the crowd is dancing on the tables- what a fun!
Final destination for all night party seekers is the famous Stadium- the place right before hell.
There are very few expats, more prostitutes and much more really crazy locals. Whatever you might looking for- dancing, drugs, drinks or joint sex- anything is possible.

Travel

Its a long time ago since i wrote the last news. In between some friends of mine visited me and we travelled around Asia. Most of our stations are well known by myself but as always there is something u hasn’t seen. I used to be in Singapore many times but never been to the so called „premium forest“- this is more or less a jungle right in this huge city. The nature reserve is quiet easy to reach by public transport and a perfect escape from the hustle of the city for a few hours. I always loved the idea of having a beach or such a retreat nearby, but having the possibility to go have an espresso a few minutes later.

Lost in Translation

On Friday we had the whole day kind of workshop in the office. There was a pretty long lunch break of 1,5hours and one of our western colleagues from the “downstairs” office ask us if we would like to order pizza. This is always a very welcomed change in food supply as our office surrounding is more or less a desert regarding delicious food for lunch. The small pizzeria offers really good pizzas, but they are amazingly slow, that’s why I asked our colleague to make sure that the pizza will be in the office on time- means at least in 1,5 hours. A few minutes later the phone ring and one of our Indonesian colleagues picked up, just recognizing the typical ya, oh ya, yah! But nothing happens so far. All colleagues ask us what we will have for lunch and we answered that we have to wait for our pizza.
After around one hour I got told that our colleague from downstairs who ordered the pizza for us was eating some fried noodles- no problem so far, because I thought she might was very hungry and starving for the pizza. Finally everybody got back to the workshop besides us, while telling them that we have to wait for our ordered pizza. It was already over 1,5 hours since we ordered so we asked our colleague downstairs, if there are any news: The simple answer was: No pizza today, because the pizzeria said it will takes two hours to deliver, that’s why she did not order and called immediately our colleague to inform us, that we won’t get any pizza today.
He simply “forgot” to deliver the given information to us!
I send our office boss a text message to inform her that we are not able to join the workshop again, because of this stupid guy- no answer!
We ordered again in our local food supplier to receive our lunch at 2.30pm. Later on my office boss ask me, that she did not understand the text message and what happens to us. I explained and she simply replied: lost in translation- he might not get the message correct.

Match girls

I am not sure what you might think about when somebody tells you at one location there are “match girls”?! I do think about ladies in the golden 20ies selling cigarettes and will enlighten them for you- kind of erotic performance but still “normal” service, not that way in Indonesia. There is a square in Jogja where at night some musicians and prostitutes hang out and of cause these famous match girls. These girls offer an easy deal. You have to pay around 2000 IDR to receive one match, follow them into a dark corner where there lift there skirt. Than you can enlighten the match to watch their pussy for a few seconds- welcome to Indonesia!
